Blogs and Bloggers That I Love

As a blogger, I obviously have some blogs that I follow myself. If you’re new to the blogging world or just don’t know who to follow in the wide wide web, hopefully my list can help you out. Some of these ladies I know personally and others I’m only dreaming of meeting. I just felt like giving my favorite blogs a shout out. This could become a very very very long list but I decided to keep it short and only mention the ones that came to me off the top of my head. Those must be good ones right…?

Mary Ella, from Stethoscopes, Simplicity & Syrah, is a classmate of mine who blogs about medicine, lifestyle, and wine. Her Instagram pictures are also pretty bomb. Check her out. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Melina McSwiggen, of Living Raediantly, is a really good friend of mine. She is also my classmate and helps out a lot with Fros and Coats. On her blog, she discusses medical school, her faith, her cat Zorro, and fitness. She is such a ray of sunshine and so so funny. I love this girl (and her cat). Check her out.

Samantha Maria is more a mainstream blogger who is based in England. I first found her through her YouTube channel but I connected with her because of her style and tattoos. She makes no excuses for loving the things she loves and her fashion and makeup are always on point. She’s also expecting her first child (hopefully this posts before she has her baby) and I’m so excited to see her function as a mommy. I’m sure she’ll be great.

Back on the medical train, Laura Laquer is a wife, mommy, and dermatologist. She has it “all together” and is a true inspiration for medical students who want to be blogging doctors. On her blog, she tackles medicine, fashion, traveling, life hacks. She, too, is pregnant and I’m so in awe in how well she seems to be balancing it all. I’m only a second-year medical student and struggle to iron my clothes every day. I know that not all of my readers are in the medical field or even into medicine like I am but, clearly, this is my life and these are the things I read.

A new favorite is Ms. Chntay of A Pineapple Serenade. This fashion blog is a breath of fresh air from all the medicine medicine medicine. What’s more… she has amazing hair and, as a natural who is obsessed with other naturals, I can’t help but have a girl hair crush on her. I found her on Instagram and she also has a YouTube channel. I love that the flow of her blog is so smooth and inviting. Her pictures are amazing and I definitely think she needs more buzz!
