To start off the new year, we’re going to experience Teapigs’ Chamomile Tea. This natural tea is caffeine free and an amazing sweet and calming before-bed beverage. Each tea temple contains pure, whole chamomile flowers that, when placed in boiling water for three minutes, create a soothing tea that helps even the busiest medical student unwind. The distinct and palatable taste allows you to drink it without any added flavoring and that is something that we all are looking into after the holidays. No need for added sugar. On that topic, this tea is dairy-free, gluten-free, and suitable for my vegetarians and vegans.

It must be noted that whole flowers take longer to brew but this tea is worth it. I like my Teapigs hot but you can also enjoy an iced beverage if you place a tea temple in a cup and just barely cover it with boiling water. Allow that temple to infuse and then fill up the cup with iced water and honey.

There are so many different flavors to try on the Teapigs’ website and I’ve already featured one of those flavors on my blog but if you’ve never tried anything from them, I’d say give it a go with the chamomile. Take a look around and tell me what you think.
